About

Thank you for visiting an attempt of mine to create my own space in the vast world wide web. This site, like life, is a work in progress.

Although I use a pseudonym every now and then, a bit of search in Google (or Bing, or Yahoo, or whatever your favourite search engine is) will tell you the most important things about me. My name is Pradeep Ananth and I currently live in Mumbai, India.

My fight against formal education right through my childhood, adolescence and supposed adulthood ended in vain as I hold an MBA from Marshall University. By the time I completed my course, MBAs stopped being such a big deal. I also hold a BA in Journalism and English. I am one of those non-practising journalists, I guess. But then again, who isn’t?

Since I got bored of the ‘normal’ jobs, I decided to take on something that has not been explored in our country – Knowledge Management. It took me a Dilbert comic to seal the deal and I chose KM as my career path.

I currently work for one of India’s largest automobile manufacturers. Here, I would like to add a friendly little disclaimer that if you tell my boss about this site, I will personally come to your house and beat the living shit out of you.

Having said that, all views expressed in this site are mine and (mostly) completely unrelated to my employers, colleagues and any person or firm that I interact with on a professional basis. (wink wink)

I have lived mostly in South India – Chennai, Bangalore & Mysore. I moved to Mumbai in 2007 and have been unable to get out of here, because, you know, traffic.

I do a bit of writing and podcasting. Although I try a lot of satire, some of them end up being rants. Remember, there’s no satire without ire.

Hope you enjoy the site. I also tweet quite a bit; if you could follow @wabbster on Twitter, I would be very happy. If you re-tweet at least ten tweets of mine for three days, I will make sure you get an #FF. Deal? No?
